Tokenized equity supply and collateral
Tokenized equity supply rose 395% while onchain collateral reached $81 million, according to a RedStone report covered by The Defiant. The Defiant noted that leveraged equity exposure onchain sits almost entirely in perpetual futures rather than tokenized shares.
Two target venues, neither live
Securitize aims for NYSE's planned 24/7 platform and the OKXICE venue. Both are described as planned or targeted rather than operating, which means the tokens' route to secondary trading is not yet settled. A tokenized share listed on an ordinary exchange session inherits that session's hours, so the appeal of a 24/7 venue is structural rather than cosmetic.
