A $717 million year against a $487 million day

Two more sessions of $487.1 million outflows would push the year-to-date figure below zero.
Wednesday's outflow came roughly two weeks after the category's biggest inflow day in eleven months. This publication reported that the earlier inflow followed a Senate cloture loss and a Fed rate rise. BlackRock, Ark and Fidelity took nine-tenths of the money. CoinDesk's read is that the weakening ETF bid, which it calls a major source of demand during the August-September rally, could prove costly from here.
