OKX adds Circle, Ripple, Qube and SC Ventures as investors at $25bn pre-money

OKX has added Circle, Ripple, Qube and SC Ventures as strategic investors behind its tokenized-equities effort, at the same $25 billion pre-money valuation ICE agreed in March. The exchange did not disclose the amount.

Securitize Stocks is launching on Solana with 12 companies, backed one-to-one by shares and settling in USDC, according to The Block, with Apple and Nvidia among the names. Securitize is also aiming at NYSE's planned 24/7 trading platform.

Tokenized equity supply is up 395%, but onchain collateral sits at $81 million, RedStone reports. Leveraged equity exposure onchain remains almost entirely in perpetual futures rather than tokenized shares, The Defiant notes.

Elsewhere in institutional capital

Crédit Agricole Assurances allocated €100 million to a tokenized Amundi cash fund, with CACEIS acting as tokenization and transfer agent. GSR committed $100 million to Hare, an onchain vault business built with Turtle, structured mostly as a credit facility to seed two Aave-powered vaults—one for major stablecoins, one for Paxos' tokenized gold.

A survey from the Conference of State Bank Supervisors found 20% of community banks could offer tokenized deposits and 17% stablecoins. Banks planning stablecoin offerings favored core service providers over stablecoin networks.
